Prof. Mona Hmoud AlSheikh is Vice President of the Saudi Society for Medical Education and a Higher Education Quality Consultant at the United Arab Emirates University. She is also an Associate Professor of Neurophysiology and Head of the Research and Innovation Unit in the College of Medicine at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University (IAU). Since 2012, she has been a certified accreditation reviewer with the National Education and Training Evaluation Commission (ETEC) and a member of the Central Assessment Committee. Previously, she held prominent roles, including Vice Dean of the Parallel Program of Medicine, Chair of the Medical Education Department, and Head of the Examination Center at the College of Medicine, IAU. Her significant achievements include establishing the Medical Education Department, the Faculty Development Program with the interprofessional Essential Skills for Health Professions Education (ESHPE) course, and the Examination Center at the College of Medicine, IAU. Her academic credentials include an MBBS, a Ph.D. in Neurophysiology, a Master’s in Health Professions Education (MHPE), an Advanced Assessment Certificate from the University of Dundee, a Postgraduate Certificate in Assessment and Accreditation from Keele University, a Philadelphia FAIMER Fellowship (2019), and an Item Bank Administrator Certificate from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). She also earned a Diploma in Artificial Intelligence and Python Programming, participated in three higher education quality assurance tours with QAA and NCAAA of UK universities, has more than 1400 citations, and recently won the Innovation contest with the SNIH for a budget of more than 5 M Saudi Riyal. An internationally recognised authority on medical education quality and assessment, she brings a Gulf and pan-Arab perspective to the panel on programmatic assessment, enriching the discussion with comparative international experience.

أ.د. منى حمود الشيخ نائب رئيس الجمعية السعودية للتعليم الطبي ومستشارة جودة التعليم العالي في جامعة الإمارات العربية المتحدة. كما تشغل منصب أستاذة مشاركة في الفسيولوجيا العصبية ورئيسة وحدة البحث والابتكار في كلية الطب بجامعة الإمام عبد الرحمن بن فيصل (IAU). ومنذ عام 2012، وهي مراجِعة معتمدة للاعتماد لدى هيئة تقويم التعليم والتدريب (ETEC)، وعضوة في اللجنة المركزية للتقييم. وقد شغلت سابقًا مناصب بارزة، منها وكيلة برنامج الطب الموازي، ورئيسة قسم التعليم الطبي، ورئيسة مركز الاختبارات في كلية الطب بجامعة الإمام عبد الرحمن بن فيصل. ومن إنجازاتها المهمة تأسيس قسم التعليم الطبي، وبرنامج تطوير أعضاء هيئة التدريس الذي يتضمن مقرر المهارات الأساسية لتعليم المهن الصحية متعدد التخصصات، إلى جانب مركز الاختبارات في كلية الطب بجامعة الإمام عبد الرحمن بن فيصل. وتشمل مؤهلاتها الأكاديمية بكالوريوس الطب والجراحة، ودكتوراه في الفسيولوجيا العصبية، وماجستيرًا في تعليم المهن الصحية (MHPE)، وشهادة متقدمة في التقييم من جامعة دندي، وشهادة دراسات عليا في التقييم والاعتماد من جامعة كيلي، وزمالة Philadelphia FAIMER لعام 2019، وشهادة إدارة بنوك الأسئلة من الجامعة الصينية في هونغ كونغ (CUHK). كما حصلت على دبلوم في الذكاء الاصطناعي وبرمجة بايثون، وشاركت في ثلاث جولات لضمان جودة التعليم العالي مع QAA وNCAAA  في جامعات المملكة المتحدة، ولديها أكثر من 1400 استشهاد علمي، وفازت مؤخرًا بمسابقة الابتكار مع SNIH بميزانية تزيد على 5 ملايين ريال سعودي. وبوصفها مرجعية دولية معترفًا بها في جودة التعليم الطبي والتقييم، تُثري الجلسة النقاشية حول التقييم البرامجي بمنظور خليجي وعربي شامل، وتضيف إليها خبرات دولية مقارنة قيّمة.
