Dina Karam is a Chief Program Officer at Japan International Cooperation Agency “JICA” Egypt Office and Team Leader of Education Sector as well as Tourism and Cultural Development Projects, and former Teacher Assistant of Pharmaceutical Technology at the German University in Cairo “GUC”. She is a holder of bachelor’s degree of Pharmaceutical Sciences from Ain Shams University and joined the international development field in 2011 where she contributed to the conclusion of several bilateral agreements and to the successful implementation of megaprojects in diversity of fields including education, private sector and SMEs development, renewable energy, tourism and cultural development, microfinance, and others.

She is currently managing JICA operations of several prominent projects supported by JICA in cooperation with the Government of Egypt such as Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology “E-JUST”, EJEP-Human Resources Development Project, Egypt-Japan Schools “EJS”, the Grand Egyptian Museum “GEM” and others. She has participated in various international conferences, seminars, workshops and trainings in Egypt, Japan, Netherland, France, and other countries. Throughout her career, she succeeded in achieving an in-depth practical experience in international cooperation, management and partnerships that contributed to strengthening the friendship and mutual cooperation between Egypt and Japan.

دينا كرم هي رئيس برامج في مكتب الهيئة اليابانية للتعاون الدولي "جايكا" في مصر، وقائدة فريق قطاع التعليم ومشاريع التنمية السياحية والثقافية، ومعيد سابق في تكنولوجيا الأدوية بالجامعة الألمانية بالقاهرة. وهي حاصلة على درجة البكالوريوس في العلوم الصيدلانية من جامعة عين شمس، وانضمت إلى مجال التنمية الدولية في عام 2011 حيث ساهمت في إبرام العديد من الاتفاقيات الثنائية والتنفيذ الناجح لمشاريع عملاقة في مجالات متنوعة، بما في ذلك التعليم، وتنمية القطاع الخاص والشركات الصغيرة والمتوسطة، والطاقة المتجددة، والسياحة والتنمية الثقافية، والتمويل الأصغر، وغيرها. وهي مسئولة حاليًا عن العديد من المشاريع البارزة التي تدعمها جايكا بالتعاون مع الحكومة المصرية مثل الجامعة المصرية اليابانية للعلوم والتكنولوجيا، ومشروع تنمية الموارد البشرية مع وزارة التعليم العالي للدراسة والتدريب في اليابان، والمدارس المصرية اليابانية، والمتحف المصري الكبير وغيرها. وقد شاركت في العديد من المؤتمرات والندوات وورش العمل والدورات التدريبية الدولية في مصر واليابان وهولندا وفرنسا، والعديد من الدول. ونجحت طوال مسيرتها المهنية في اكتساب خبرات عملية في التعاون الدولي والإدارة والشراكات التي ساهمت في تعزيز علاقات الصداقة والتعاون المتبادل بين مصر واليابان.
