Ass. Prof Mohamed Magdy received a B.Sc. in electrical engineering from the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University (ASU), Egypt 2014. He furthered his education with an M.Sc. in engineering mechanics from the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University (ASU), Egypt, in 2018. He received his Ph.D. in mechatronics and robotics engineering from the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST), Alexandria, Egypt, in 2024. He has been a member of the ASU teaching staff at the Department of Mathematical and Physical Science since 2015. He is a reviewer for Ain Shams Engineering Journal, Elsevier. His research interests include wearable sensor design, IoT for medical sensors, electromechanical systems modeling, electromagnetic propulsion, embedded system design, and sensor design.
