Prof. Dr. Yassin EL SHAZLY

Professor Yassin EL SHAZLY holds a doctoral degree in Business Law from Jean Moulin Lyon 3 University, France. He also holds a Master's degree in law from Ain Shams University and Lyon 2-France and a Master's degree in political science from Jean Moulin Lyon 3- France and a diploma in comparative law (American law- English Law). He graduated from Saint George Language Schools. He serves as Vice Dean and Professor of Commercial & Maritime Law, Ain Shams University and has recognized academic experience in regional and international universities, namely Bordeaux University (France), Lyon3 University (France), Qatar University (where he served as Associate Dean for Outreach and community Engagement), Sultan Qaboos University (Oman), the American University in Cairo (AUC), ESLSCA university (Egyptian branch), Arab Academy for Science Technology & Maritime Transport (AASTMT), the Financial Institute.

Professor EL SHAZLY is an Attorney at the Egyptian Supreme Court and the Founding Partner of Al-Feshawy & El-Shazly Law firm. He has extensive experience in the field of negotiating and drafting business contracts and he served as a legal counsel in many cases and drafted legal opinions in various areas of business law matters. He is appointed as Arbitrator and legal expert in various commercial disputes mainly in the field of construction, corporate law, contract law and agency law. Prof ELSHAZLY is a qualified arbitrator and listed in the rosters of different arbitral institutions, mainly Dubai International Arbitration Center (DIAC), Shanghai Arbitration Commission (SHAC), Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA) and Qatar International Conciliation and Arbitration center (QICCA). He participates regularly as Expert Witness under International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) rules as well as London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) rules. He was also nominated as an Expert under the International Center of Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) and member of Investors Disputes Settlement Center (GAFI).

Professor EL SHAZLY served as Legal Advisor to the chairman of the Financial Supervisory Authority (Egypt) and as a Legal Counsel at the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (Egypt) and was assigned as Legal Expert for international projects granted by the African Union and the European Union. He is selected as legal expert for drafting commercial related legislation in the GCC. He started his career as a member of the Supreme Administrative court in the Egyptian State Council and he was also appointed at the public prosecutor office in Egypt. He has hands-on experience in organizing and delivering legal training courses especially in the field of banking transactions, intellectual property, corporate governance, media law, governance and dispute resolution methods. He is a certified trainer from the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and Egyptian Institute of Directors (EIOD).

Concerning the scientific research, professor EL SHAZLY published around fifty peer reviewed articles in different languages (Arabic-English-French) and he continues to publish his work in different areas of law especially corporate law, e-commerce, transportation law, arbitration and dispute resolution methods, investment law, intellectual property and capital market.  He published several scholarly books on corporate law, commercial papers and banking transactions, arbitration law and commercial law. He has been awarded the research prize in Human Rights from the city of Lyon (2007) and LexisNexis publication best author (2017).  He is also a member of the international law association and the Arab association for commercial and Maritime law and a Mentor in the 2nd AYA Mentoring Programme 2020 organized by Association of Young Arbitrators (AYA).

الأستاذ الدكتور ياسين الشاذلي حاصل على درجة الدكتوراه في القانون التجاري من كلية الحقوق - جامعة جان مولان ليون 3 الفرنسة، وهو أيضاً حاصل على درجة الماجستير في القانون من جامعتي عين شمس وليون 2 بفرنسا ودرجة الماجستير في العلوم السياسية من جامعة ليون 3 بفرنسا، بالإضافة إلى دبلوم القانون المقارن (القانون الامريكي- القانون الإنجليزي) من جامعة ليون 3 و ليسانس الحقوق من جامعة عين شمس وهو خريج مدارس سان جورج للغات

الدكتور الشاذلي هو أستاذ القانون التجاري والبحري ووكيل كلية الحقوق جامعة عين شمس وله خبرات اكاديمية طويلة بعدد من الجامعة العربية والأجنبية، وبالأخص الجامعة الأمريكية بالقاهرة (كلية إدارة الأعمال)، جامعة قطر، جامعة السلطان قابوس، جامعة ليون الفرنسية، جامعة بوردو بفرنسا، جامعة النيل الدولية، جامعة اسلسكا- مصر، كلية النقل الدولي واللوجستيات بالأكاديمية العربية لتكنولوجيا العلوم والنقل البحري، معهد الخدمات المالية الأكاديمية الأولمبية القطرية، الأكاديمية الأولمبية العمانية

علي الصعيد المهني، الأستاذ الدكتور الشاذلي محامي بمحكمة النقض المصرية والإدارية العليا والدستورية، هو الشريك المؤسس لمكتب الفيشاوي والشاذلي للمحاماة والاستشارات القانونية والتحكيم، وله خبرة مهنية في مجال صياغة التشريعات واللوائح والسياسات والعقود بمختلف أنواعها، وبالأخص عقود التجارة الدولية وعقود الشركات والوكالات التجارية واتفاقيات التسوية صفقات الدمج والاستحواذ. كما اختير الدكتور الشاذلي كمُحكم في عدد من الدعاوى التحكيمية الوطنية والدولية، وهو عضو مركز تسوية منازعات المستثمرين بالهيئة العامة للاستثمار والمناطق الحرة ، ومحكم معتمد لدى مركز القاهرة الإقليمي للتحكيم التجاري الدولي ، ومركز دبي للتحكيم الدولي، مركز قطر الدولي للتوفيق والتحكيم ، وقدم شهادة كخبير محلف  في العديد من المنازعات أمام غرفة التجارية الدولية بباريس ومحكمة لندن للتحكيم الدولي ولجنة شنغهاي للتحكيم، كما رشح كخبير أمام مركز الدولي لتسوية منازعات الاستثمار التابع للبنك الدولي

كما انتدب الدكتور الشاذلي للعمل كمستشار قانوني لرئيس الهيئة العامة للرقابة المالية (مصر) وكخبير قانوني بالجهاز القومي لتنظيم الاتصالات (مصر). وأيضاً عمل كخبير قانوني للمشروعات الدولية الممنوحة من الاتحاد الأفريقي والاتحاد الأوروبي وشارك كخبير في صياغة عدد من التشريعات التجارية بالدول الخليجية. كما أنه محاضر معتمد لدى مؤسسة التمويل الدولية ومركز المدريين المصريين. ولقد بدأ الدكتور الشاذلي حياته المهنية في سلك القضاء، حيث قد عُين عضو بهيئة المفوضين بالمحكمة الإدارية العليا بمجلس الدولة المصري، كما عُين معاونا بالنيابة العامة المصرية

وفيما يتعلق بالبحث العلمي، فلقد نشر الأستاذ الدكتور الشاذلي أكثر من خمسين بحث مُحكم منشور بلغات مختلفة (العربية - الإنجليزية – الفرنسية) في الدوريات المحلية والدولية، وبالأخص في مجال قانون الشركات، قانون الاستثمار، قانون الرياضة، التحكيم التجاري، قانون سوق المال، الدعاية والاعلان، قانون الاتصالات والمعلومات، التجارة الإلكترونية، قانون النقل الجوي والبحري، قانون الملكية الفكرية، الوسائل البديلة لفض المنازعات. كما له أيضاً عدد من الكتب حول شرح قانون التجارة، قانون الشركات، قانون الأوراق التجارية والعلميات المصرية، وأيضاً قانون التحكيم

وقد حصل الدكتور الشاذلي على الجائزة الأولى الخاصة بأبحاث حقوق الإنسان لمدينة ليون لعام 2007 على جائزة أفضل المؤلفين لعام 2017 من مؤسسة ليكزنكزس العالمية، فضلاً عن عضوية جمعية القانون الدولي والجمعية العربية للقانون التجاري والبحري، كما انضم كمشرف اكاديمي ضمن برنامج تأهيل المحكمين الشبان  بالأكاديمية الافريقية للتحكيم لعام 2020
