As a Professor of Radiology, Dr. Yassin leads efforts to rapidly bring the benefits of new technologies into clinical practice.

As the executive director of ASU center of excellence for AI in the medical sector, she emphasizes incorporating Artificial intelligence techniques to improve detection and guide treatment.

Dr. Yassin received her bachelor’s degree in medicine, her master’s degree, and her residency degree from Ain Shams University. She then completed her doctorate at Harvard University with a clinical research fellowship in body MRI at BIDMC, where she was mentored by Neil Rofsky, Ivan Pedrosa and Robert lenkinski.

Dr Yassin also holds a diploma of healthcare and hospital management from the American university in Cairo (AUC).

Dr. Yassin served as Director of the MRI unit at Ain Shams University Specialized Hospital and then joined the committee of medical imaging at the university’s hospitals.

Dr. Yassin has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and regularly presents at prestigious medical societies.
