Prof. Dr. Farid Moharam El-Garhy is the Dean of the Faculty of Business, Ain Shams University since April 2025. He previously served as Vice Dean for Education & Student Affairs at the same faculty and has held numerous advisory and expert positions in financial and economic management for government, regional, and international organizations, including the World Health Organization, World Bank, and the Arab Organization for Administrative Development.

Dr. El-Garhy has extensive experience in financial governance, internal auditing, cost accounting, and performance budgeting, with notable contributions to Egypt’s healthcare, educational, and public sector institutions. He has participated in designing financial systems, internal control frameworks, and corporate governance mechanisms for both national and regional entities.

He is a fellow of the Egyptian Society of Accountants and Auditors, a member of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), and an active contributor to academic and professional committees, supervising research, evaluating academic promotions, and providing training for local and regional organizations.

Dr. El-Garhy holds a PhD in Accounting from Ain Shams University and has published over 75 scientific research papers. He is a frequent keynote speaker and panelist at scientific conferences and workshops.

الأستاذ الدكتور فريد مرهام الغرهي هو عميد كلية التجارة، جامعة عين شمس منذ أبريل 2025. شغل سابقًا منصب وكيل الكلية لشئون التعليم والطلاب، ولديه خبرة واسعة كمستشار وخبير مالي واقتصادي للعديد من الجهات الحكومية والإقليمية والدولية، بما في ذلك منظمة الصحة العالمية، والبنك الدولي، والمنظمة العربية للتنمية الإدارية.

يتمتع الدكتور الغرهي بخبرة كبيرة في الحوكمة المالية، والتدقيق الداخلي، وتكاليف المحاسبة، ووضع الميزانيات القائمة على الأداء، وقد ساهم بشكل بارز في تطوير نظم مالية وإدارية لمؤسسات الرعاية الصحية والتعليم والقطاع العام في مصر.

هو زميل الجمعية المصرية للمحاسبين والمراجعين، وعضو معهد المحاسبين الإداريين (IMA)، ويشارك بفعالية في اللجان الأكاديمية والمهنية، مشرفًا على البحوث، ومقيمًا للترقيات الأكاديمية، ومقدّمًا برامج تدريبية للجهات المحلية والإقليمية.

يحمل الدكتور الغرهي درجة الدكتوراه في المحاسبة من جامعة عين شمس، ونشر أكثر من 75 بحثًا علميًا، كما يشارك بانتظام كمتحدث رئيسي وعضو لجنة في المؤتمرات وورش العمل العلمية.
