Prof. Ansam Seif

Director, Assessment and Evaluation Central Unit, Ain Shams University

Dr. Ansam Aly Seif has finished her bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery from the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University (ASU), Egypt, in 1992. She finished her master’s degree in 1998 and doctorate degree in 2002 in Medical Physiology from the same university. She got her professorship in Medical Physiology in 2015. Dr. Seif is a fellow of the Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER), ASU-MENA-FAIMER Regional Institute, 2019. She’s a staff, board member and course coordinator at the Medical Education Department, ASU. She’s acting head of the Central Measurement and Evaluation Unit, ASU. She’s also the coordinator of the Cardiovascular Module in the pre-clerkship phase of the newly adopted competency-based curriculum at ASU, 2019. She’s a member of the African Association of Physiological Sciences (AAPS) and Egyptian Physiological Society (EPS) as well as member of the Egyptian Society for Medical Education (ESME). In 2018, she was certified as Professional Certified Trainer (PCT) from the American University in Cairo (AUC), accredited by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). Dr. Seif has several publications in several national and international medical journals.
