Prof. Mohamed Hany
Prof. Mohamed Hany Shehata is a practicing Academic Family Physician with qualifications, experience and multiple publications in medical education. Currently serving as a Professor of Family Medicine and the Chairman of the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Arabian Gulf University (CMHS-AGU), Bahrain. He is also a member of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Health Professions Education at AGU and serves on the Medical Education Department Council.
Dr. Shehata has been actively involved in various faculty development programs in medical education and family medicine, both locally and regionally. He is currently participating as core faculty in the Eastern Mediterranean Regional Fellowship for the Advancement of Medical Education and Research.
In his role as a member of the Academic Committee for the Clinical Master’s in Family Medicine program at CMHS-AGU, the team has been instrumental in developing a robust system that ensures high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment. This system leverages technology to create a trainee-centered learning environment.
